If you or someone in your family is allergy-prone, cosmetics get chosen by reading the ingredient list first. WELINA ORGANICS was built the other way around: by narrowing down what goes in at all.

We have decided against petroleum-derived ingredients, nanoparticles, silicone, ethanol and animal-derived ingredients. Our skincare, such as toners and milks, also leaves out preservatives including phenoxyethanol, parabens and benzoic acid. Every raw material, functional ones like emulsifiers and thickeners included, is plant-derived, and we buy only materials extracted without alcohol. Keeping the formulas short is how we aim to lower the day-to-day burden on the skin and the risk of an allergic reaction.

At our workshop on Hawaii's North Shore, freshly pressed materials are made up in the quantity needed, each time. Nothing sits in storage — which is what makes working without preservatives possible. Every product page lists the full ingredients, so you can check before choosing. A patch test is always a good idea.
